YV&C'S Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting Photo Album 2004

Registrations are coming in stronger than previous years for the 2005 Antigua Charter Yacht Show. "We have some wonderful yachts exhibiting and many yachts showing for the first time. Preparations are well underway and if anyone needs help or advise with any aspect of this year’s show please give us a call or drop us an email, we are here to help make the show as productive as possible," says Antigua Show Management.

"Most important we appear to be having a small problem with our internet server, therefore when you have registered online, please check that within two to three days your name is added to the list of attendees, yachts, agents, press, vendors etc. If you do not see your name appear please send us an email and verify that we have received your registration forms. Many thanks and we apologise for this brief inconvenience."

Last Call For Advertising Opportunities In The Official Show Directory:

Airport Pick Up: Please be sure to fill in the "Airport Pick Up Form" on the Website in the registration section to ensure swift pick up from the Free Airport Shuttle that will take you to your hotel, villa or guest house.

Fliers in Show Packages: Any company or person wishing to have material packed into the show bags captains and others should send their materials as soon as possible, with 125 brochures for captain’s bags or 550 brochures for all show bags. The cost of having them packed is US$150 please send cheque or wire transfer.  Please mark your package, “Yacht Show Promotional Materials, No Commercial Value”  But please include an original invoice for a small amount eg. $100.

The 6th Annual Charter Chefs Competition Concourse de Chef Live on YachtCharterMagazine.TV!
This years competition will entail the creation of a First Course and a Dessert offering, to be judged by a panel of five top class chefs and Gastronomes from around the world. There will be NO mystery basket this year and chefs have free range to create, the criteria being, Caribbean Flair (the best use of Caribbean ingredients), Taste and Presentation.  There will be two optional phases of the competition, one for Most Beautiful Table Setting and Best Use of the Bean from Carib Bean Coffee Roasters. Full details are now posted on the Website.

There are three categories:

1. Mega Yachts, power and Sailing Yachts over 125 feet. 

2. Luxury Yachts, Power 125 & under, sailing & motor sailors 75ft to 125ft. 

3. Traditional Sailing Yachts, under 75ft. 

Once again our main sponsors are Boat International, Perrier Jouet & Liat The Caribbean Airline. There will be multiple prizes for the winners and runners up at the prize giving ceremony at The Inn Beach Bar in English Harbour. Only 10 yachts will be accepted in each category and registration opens at 9.00am Eastern Caribbean Time on November 1st 2005.

Crew Name Badges: Please start sending your crew lists to us so we can have name badges made up and read at the Captains Briefing on December 6th.
