From New York to Tokyo to Antwerp, Infravio said it is "hitting the road" to share its expertise and customer experience, and promote SOA registry/repository and governance. Infravio has begun its tour as a Gold Sponsor of the SOA Executive Forum, held on November 7 and 8 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York.

Infravio customer Edmund I. Vazquez, group manager for Web Service Integrations and SOA Implementations at Sprint Nextel, spoke on “Achieving Business Agility with SOA,” looking at how SOA helps model business processes, the challenges involved, and the benefits that accrue. Miko Matsumura, vice president of technology standards at Infravio, spoke on “Evolving Role of the Repository,” highlighting how real world implementations require integration between service registries and policy repositories as the centerpiece of an SOA and the governance controls that should be in place.

As chair of the OASIS technical committee for SOA Blueprints, Matsumura will also lead a general session on “Prescriptive Guidance for SOA,” focusing on how SOA Blueprints, frameworks, pattern libraries, and other forms of prescriptive guidance can help keep the dazzling array of SOA technologies and standards in perspective. The session will take place November 8, 2005, from 9:30am to 10:15am.
